Cookie Cabin is a small bake shop on the corner of 3rd Street and Knysna Rd in George's Eastern Extension, and everything about it is built around one thing: a cookie worth talking about. They come out thick, soft and freshly made, which is exactly why reviewers keep using the word gourmet — and why nearly a thousand people have taken the time to rate them. Yes, they cost more than the packet on the shelf. That's the point. Pre-orders are welcome if you want a specific flavour held back for you, and gift boxes go out for occasions like Valentine's. Pop in between 8am and 5pm on weekdays, or till 4pm on a Saturday, and take a box home to share.
